Hello!

It’s me, Laura – founder of Need and human who poses for candid pictures. I’m here in the ‘thinking’ section of our website to tell you I’ll be speaking at Glasgow institute Gab on Thursday 5 September.

Gab is a get together for creative folk, run by our good friends Jamhot. This is number 37 in the series and will be held at The Social Hub in Glasgow – a new venue for the event.

I’ll be sharing the stage with James Greenfield from Koto and designer Demi Akin-Adeniyi, with Eilidh Mackay as host.

What will I be talking about? Aberdeen? The power of words? Failing art school? Class division? Why women need quotas? Or my dad?

We’ll find out on the night.
